We walk our neighborhood every morning looking for oddments. We follow moving trucks and have the area's trash days mapped out.

Every oddment is hand washed and sanitized. Depending on the material, this could mean soap and water, glass cleaner, and/or UV light.

The artist spends time with each piece to find its unique details and what those say about the culture that discarded them. She combines these insights to create her hand-painted designs.
